This year’s theme, ‘the human element’, invited educators, researchers, policymakers and thought leaders to explore the multifaceted dimensions of human interactions across the international education landscape in this rapidly evolving digital era.

Don’t forget to save the date for AIEC 2025 in Canberra/Ngambri – 14-17 October 2025. The Call for Proposals will be open in early 2025 and detailed guidelines will be available before the portal opens.

This year's theme was beautifully illustrated by Jessamy Gee from Think in Colour who created a mural in the Exhibition Hall. The mural captured how our attendees interpreted the theme ‘the human element’– make sure you check out all of the colourful illustrations available on the AIEC website. | |

The annual IEAA Excellence Awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding contribution of individuals and teams in building Australia’s reputation for quality and innovation in international education.
