Reflecting on AIEC 2023's vision and transformation
It's been over a month since 1,700 of us gathered at AIEC 2023 in Adelaide/Tarntanya to discuss the issues that matter most to the international education sector.
Inspired by the progressive history of our host city Adelaide, this year’s theme ‘visionary and transformative’ focused on the role that innovation plays in transforming the experiences of our students and the communities in which they live, work and study.
You can view AIEC 2023 highlights on the website, including photos, videos, keynote and session recaps, links and more from this year’s conference. Selected sessions are available to view via the AIEC app for registered delegates. Don’t forget to save the date for AIEC 2024 in Melbourne – 22-25 October 2024. The Call for Proposals will be open in early 2024 and detailed guidelines will be available before the portal opens.

Visually visionary and transformative

This year's theme was beautifully illustrated by Jessamy Gee from Think in Colour who created in a mural in the Exhibition Hall. The mural captured how our attendees interpreted the theme ‘visionary and transformative’ – make sure you check out all of the colourful illustrations available on the AIEC website.
